I began my career as a painter in New York City. While waiting for an assistant position in Helen Frankenthaler's studio, I paid my rent by painting scenery and was quickly hooked on theater. My work in set and costume design for the stage eventually led to production designing for film and television. Storyboarding for directors like Mike Nichols, Alan Pakula and Frank Oz gave me an understanding of the narrative filmmaking process, while production designing for Michael Mann honed my acuity for visual conceptualization.

I currently reside in NYC . I am a member of the NY and LA IATSE locals and available to  travel. I am comfortable working with the digital mediums available in art direction, as well as having proficiency in quick hands-on sketching.

My personal art and Production Design are inextricably linked, each serving the visual narrative of the other in unexpected ways. I am inspired by story, architecture and the messiness of everday life.
